We continued our VE Day 80 celebrations during cooking club this afternoon with some patriotic creations! Children chopped, whisked and mixed to create a delightful Eton mess in red, white and blue and a lovely blueberry and banana smoothie to accompany it. Our chefs demonstrated brilliant organisation, being able to follow two recipes alongside each other, while adapting their puddings to accommodate each other’s preferences. We had some time to taste test at the end and were very pleased with how our dishes turned out – especially our Eton mess with delicious cream that we whipped by hand!
