Whilst learning about VE Day, our children have thought about peace. What is peace? What does peace feel and look like to us? Who in our world currently does not have peace? How can we advocate for world peace? We have found out about the creation of the United Nations since the Second World War and thought about actions, big and small, that we could take to be the change we want to see in our world.
We created a whole school collage to share some of our thoughts. This collage was displayed at Beacon Hall on VE Day and will soon be on display back at school.
