Our Citizenship and Character Award is a structured programme of opportunities and experiences which broaden horizons and support children in becoming active members of society. Over two years, children’s involvement will earn them badges that they can wear on their uniform to celebrate the ways that they have developed character and learned how to be good citizens.
The goals that children will try to achieve are all accessible in school and are linked to our CARE values of Curiosity, Aspiration, Resilience and Empathy. The programme is progressive, encouraging children to build on previous achievements.

Year 4: I have volunteered in my community.
