Peasedown St John Primary School is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership Trust, which we joined in April 2019. As part of the Trust we work in collaboration with other schools and enjoy the benefits of partnership working on school improvement, finance, health and safety and many other areas of school management.
Being part of a successful Trust not only supports the day-to-day running of our school; it also provides exciting opportunities to develop new ways of meeting the needs of all our children across primary, secondary and special schools in our area.
The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership Trust has chosen the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust as its charity trust of the year. This charity was chosen because of the excellent work they have done to support disadvantaged children, but also tackle prejudice and discrimination. Partnership schools will run a number of events to fund raise as well as raise awareness of the issues associated with prejudice, fairness and disadvantage.
