Well done to Year 1 who had another wonderful session this week. We started with our Forest School rules, played 1,2,3 Where are you? and Splat. Throughout our free play/explore time children were able to create dens, hunt for bugs, climb the ladder, play in the mud kitchen and explore the conservation area. At the same time, children could choose to join Mrs Monks and create a natural collage or join Mrs Dixson to have a go at whittling wood with peelers. We were so impressed with children’s creativity in the collage and resilience when whittling.

See below for the pictures.

For their next session on Wednesday 20th November, we will hopefully be going to Camerton woods to create dens in groups and then in our final Forest School session we will have a campfire and toast marshmallows.
