Year 2 had a fantastic day today at We the Curious! We have been learning about materials in Science this term, so this trip was linked to our learning. We took part in a workshop called ‘Build it!’ where we learnt about what we need to build a suitable home. We had a practice at building a mini wall out of Lego then we tested materials for how waterproof they are, before building a big house altogether!
When we weren’t doing the workshop, we had a brilliant time exploring the rest of the museum. We loved interacting with all of the exhibits and learnt lots about light, air, flight and the science behind our food.
