We have been celebrating Health and Nutrition week this week by offering the children some wonderful different fruits for snack, from pineapple to melon, strawberries and plums, the children have loved trying these new foods. We have been talking about foods which are good for us and help make us big and strong and foods which we should have only a little of, the children demonstrated great understanding of this.
On the back of this weeks topic could we just ensure children’s lunchboxes have a healthy variety of foods offered to them. With one sweet treat which the children can eat once their healthy option has been eaten.
