Throughout last week all children also took part in our first CARE Week, exploring what our values mean and how our role models show these values, exploring these themes through art, poetry, music, sewing and dance. Children continued to learn about inspirational black role models as part of Black History Month and some children presented their learning about these role models in a special celebration assembly on Friday.

As part of CARE week, we also held our harvest festivals. The singing, poems, music, artwork and reflections about sharing and caring for others demonstrated our vision and values in action. Thank you for your generous donations for the Somer Valley Foodbank and thank you to everyone who was able to join us for these services.
