Year 2 have been learning about the still-life paintings of David Hockney. We looked at how he created texture in his paintings and we experimented with using brushes in different ways to make marks. We have explored how to create tints and shades through colour mixing, to show light and shadow. This afternoon, we created our final still-life paintings!
