Wow, what a wonderfully busy and creative CARE week we’ve had! All week, we’ve celebrated World Book Day with a range of reading activities, including trying to guess who the ‘Masked Reader’ has been each day and a lovely read and share event with parents on Wednesday.  We loved seeing all the amazing costumes the children wore yesterday for World Book Day too! On Tuesday afternoon, we learnt about the NSPCC Speak
Out, Stay Safe campaign, and discussed how we can look after ourselves and who to talk to if we’re worried.  Finally, CARE week ended with an action-packed Science Day! This morning, we used our learning about materials from last term to create a high-vis jacket in groups, choosing shiny, reflective materials.  Then we learnt about the career of Chris Packham and why he is an important scientist. We learnt more about how plants grow and the process of germination this afternoon, then finally we had lots of fun doing different Science investigations in our stay and play session! Thank you to all the parents who have come in this week and enjoyed some enrichment activities with their children.
