What a wonderful morning we had in Eckweek Green. The children were very sensible walking down there. We talked about the boundaries and the risks in order to ensure we kept ourselves safe and then we played 1,2,3 Where are you? in order to get to know the space some more. The adults were very impressed with the children’s hiding spaces – they reall threw themselves into the bushes! We then played a game of Splat. After this, we split into groups and worked together to make dens. Some of us even added campfires and pathways to ours! We read a story under our den and then enjoyed some time free playing. We loved seeing games of cross the river, children making bug hotels and lots of role playing going on. Well done Year 4!
