We have had so much fun in Year 3 this week! We have done lots of hands on, practical learning. On Monday, we made our final clay jars- linking our Art topic of sculpture to our History topic of ancient Egypt, we had so much fun and can’t wait to take them home to show our families.
On Wednesday, we lived the life of ancient Egyptians for a while as we mummified some bananas (and had a little snack on the parts we scooped out!), we couldn’t imagine doing this to a whole human, it was hard work!
We finished our practical learning this week with an outside Science lesson, where we identified the different parts of leaves and classified them.
