Today, Year 5 had a workshop with the Share and Repair volunteers. We learnt about the importance of reducing our landfill waste by repairing, recycling and reusing items. The children used laptops to find out how to save money by searching through the ‘Library of Things’ on the Share and Repair website, and finding items they could rent instead of buying new. Everyone particularly enjoyed fixing torches and hoovers! Our thanks to Sarah, Rachel, John and Graham for leading the sessions.
You can find out more about the resources available to rent at https://shareandrepair.org.uk/
