What a brilliant week we have had in Year 4!
Our week kicked off with an energetic Judo taster session for Teal Class (Aqua enjoyed their session last week). The children showed fantastic focus and enthusiasm as they learned some fundamental moves, balance techniques, and the importance of discipline and respect in martial arts.
Back in the classroom, we turned our attention to Design & Technology as we prepare for an exciting big project: designing and constructing our very own pavilions! This week, we used cardboard triangles and lolly sticks to create ‘L joints’ which could be used to create a range of 3D shapes.
We can’t wait to see how they apply these new skills when they begin building their pavilion models over the next few weeks
