Year 1 had an absolutely amazing time at Forest School this week – even the rain couldn’t stop us! We embraced the wet weather, splashing through puddles, throwing mud at the target sheet, and cooking up delicious mud pies in the mud kitchen.

Everyone enjoyed exploring and playing together from digging in the sand to firing our colourful cardboard leaf firework shooters, there was excitement everywhere! We also got creative and used saws safely to make our own little Christmas decorations.

To top it all off, every child finished painting our beautiful windchimes, which are now drying and will be heading home soon.

Well done, Year 1 — what a fantastic day of fun, creativity, and adventure in the great outdoors! We apologise now for the washing you will face tonight!
