We were excited to start our new science topic on plants. This week, we began by recapping the different parts of a plant and their purposes. We also learned new vocabulary, including pollination and seed dispersal. For our experiment, we planted cress seeds to observe how quickly the roots grow. Over the next few weeks, we will carefully observe and measure their growth, recording our results on a line graph.
