It has been another busy week for us in Year 2! We have been expanding our learning surrounding The Great Fire of London, now covering this in English and Guided Reading too! We have done lots of work on oracy, we’ve been hot-seating, performing Reader’s Theatre and we have even done an online museum virtual reality experience so we could gain a deeper understanding of the event. In Science we have been busy planting seeds and bulbs to see which grows faster, and in PSHE we had a task to work well in a group to perform something brand new to the class (some of us even learnt to count to 10 in Mandarin!). In Art this week we looked at colour theory and adding white and black to create shades and tints of different colours. What a busy, successful week Year 2. Have a restful weekend!
