To celebrate the end of a long and successful term for all of Gold Class pupils, we spent the afternoon baking and playing Boccia. First it was down to the brilliant new Cookery Corner where Gold Class baked chocolate chip cookies. There was a lot of discussion about the best techniques to create the perfect dough for the cookies, with every pupil mixing their own dough. While the biscuits baked, we enjoyed a game of Boccia (a paralympic sport which is seated bowls). The red and blue team were neck on neck and the exciting match ended in a tie. We then enjoyed the biscuits with a mug of hot chocolate while listening to our class reader, Billy Blitz.
