Year 6 have arrived safely at Grittleton House and have been enjoying a super first day of team building, new experiences and exciting challenges!
Archery, Mission X and Body Zorbs were first on the schedule, followed by some time to unpack and get used to the layout of the house before enjoying a delicious meal of chicken and chips. We were really impressed by how many of the children stepped out of their comfort zone to try some new foods at the salad bar: the gherkins were almost as popular as the pudding doughnuts! We finished off the evening by playing dodgeball in the dome and reading a chapter of our class novel. Big smiles this evening and initial worries have made way for lots of fun and bonding with our class teams. We have a big day ahead tomorrow with many more exciting activities.
