What a fantastic afternoon for our Year 6 children! After all their hard work this week preparing for their SATs, Year 6 unwound with a PE session on our newly-reopened field. We have been talking in our classes about how looking after our health and wellbeing and ensuring we are a strong team is an important part of our SATS preparation, so we took the opportunity the lovely weather had afforded us to continue to prove what fantastic team spirit and support we have for each other — this time through cricket, rounders, throwing and football.

Of course, we cooled off with delicious rocket lollies afterwards!

Year 6, you are a super team and showing how much you’ve grown in aspiration, resilience and maturity over the past few months. Your teachers are so proud of you!
