Year 4 enjoyed exploring chemistry and physics during Science Day! They wondered whether all coins were magnetic, and tested this using a variety of coins and magnets. The children also tested which was the most efficient toilet tissue to break down in water, and which would be the least environmentally friendly to use. Their final experiment was replicating the impact of climate change on polar climates, how measuring the speed at which their ‘glacier’ melted. They used this data to plan how they could slow down global warming. Super Science work Year 4!
