Year 4 were lucky enough to have a visit from Jack Jackman, the author of our Guided Reading text Maisie vs Antarctica where he talked about his newly released text Maisie vs the Himalayas.
Jack captivated us with the behind the scenes from his making of Maisie vs the Himalayas especially about caves, hidden passages and secret maps. 3 students were picked to be Maisie and were taken on an adventure discussing with the year group what items they should take and what decisions they should make on their journey in order to reach the treasure! Then children were able to have a book signed by Jack to take home too.
