Wow, what a busy week it’s been in Year 2! We started the week with a visit from the author Rachel Bright, performed our Harvest festival to parents and started making our chairs for Baby Bear in DT!  We really enjoyed listening to Rachel read two of her books to us and then the children had a go at drawing the turtle in her new book.  The children’s hard work at practising their lines and songs paid off at the Harvest festival.  The children have shown fantastic curiosity, aspiration, resilience and empathy in all of their learning this week, but especially in DT where they worked brilliantly in teams to make a stable structure.
