Well done to all the Y2 children this week who created amazing creatures using clay and things we had foraged such as twigs, leaves, conkers and more. They thought carefully about the shape of their creature and added features such as wings, legs, feelers, stripes, spots, faces etc. We named our creatures and then in groups created houses for them thinking about making them beds and putting a stable roof over them so they didn’t get wet. We were so impressed with the way they could describe to us what they had created.
