This term in DT, we are learning how to make healthy wraps.  We have been learning about the different food groups and the importance of having a balanced diet.  Today, we used equipment to practise preparing food – we grated cheese, we chopped peppers and spring onions, we mashed avocado and we spread hummus on crackers.  Then we got to eat it all! Next week, we will be designing our own healthy wraps to include ingredients from different food groups before making our delicious wraps in week 5.
