In DT this term, we have been learning about what makes a balanced diet. We have learnt what the different food groups are and that we should try and eat a variety of foods from each food group. We practised food preparation skills, such as chopping, grating, mashing and spreading. Our design brief was to create a healthy wrap which included at least two ingredients from different food groups, and which would be tasty for children. We really enjoyed using our food preparation skills to create our delicious wraps, and then of course eating them!
