In Year 2 this term, we have been exploring the work of Aboriginal Dreaming artist, Dorothy Napangardi.  We have discovered how Aboriginal peoples use symbols to tell stories and communicate.  We have been creating our own symbols, experimenting with the block printing technique and using our colour theory skills to mix earthy colours. We can’t wait to see how the children’s final prints turn out next week!
