Year 2 have had another busy week of DT! This week, we have been learning how to sew a running stitch, then we designed a simple pouch with a decoration. We cut out a paper template then used it to cut two pieces of felt to the right shape. We sewed our decoration onto the front pocket then sewed our pouch together. We tested them by putting coins in then evaluated them. We’re very proud of the resilience shown by the children in learning their new skill!
