It’s been an amazing week for Year 6 at Grittleton! The children have had fun and conquered fears while trying their hand at the exciting different activities. The second half of the week saw the groups try out Aeroball, fire-lighting, buggy building and bushcraft survival. We also had our own Olympic Games and finished the week with a fantastic glow-in-the-dark celebration party on Thursday night.
We’ve been so proud of the children this week for the ways in which they’ve grown and developed. Friendships have been strengthened and some new ones have been formed. The children have shown positive and adventurous attitudes towards new activities, new foods and staying away from home for a whole week. Our camp has been a strong start to Year 6 and we’re all excited for the coming year ahead. Well done Year 6!
