The whole school stopped for two minutes this morning as a mark of respect on Armistice Day.

In a service led by Rev. Matthew Street, the school gathered to reflect on lives lost for our freedoms and the thank those who continue to serve for our freedom.

The Last Post was played by Wes Downing whilst we stood in silence and then a representative from each class laid a handcrafted wreath at the front of the hall.

The service ended with a prayer and the national anthem.

The wreaths remain on display alongside photos of family members from our school community of service men and women who have or currently serve in the armed forces.
