Today the children in Gold Class did some baking. They mixed the butter, sugar, flour and eggs to make cake batter. Earlier this year we did a writing unit on The Hungry Caterpillar and the children love retelling the story with the story sack. We decided to decorate the cupcakes with tiny caterpillars on leaves (which Mrs Hitchens taught us how to do!).
