Gold Class had such fun this morning on our first local outing. We walked to the Hive Community Centre next door to the school. This was the perfect short walk to practise our safety targets and road safety skills. Once we were there, we enjoyed some running games and having fun with the parachute. Then we got to play in the soft play area and everyone had such a good time, taking turns on the different equipment and delighting in a new environment. Before leaving, we had a snack at the cafe tables. Everyone declared that they felt “happy, “very happy” or “really happy” and there were smiles all around! It was such a great time together that we definitely want to go again!
