In the past two weeks our Mini Police cadets have been on the roadside outside school supporting the police with speed awareness.
The cadets had the opportunity to hold ‘speed guns’ to measure the speed of oncoming traffic. Anyone driving over the village limit of 20 miles an hour was then pulled over by PC Bendle so that a cadet, supported by our PCSOs, could talk to them about the dangers of driving too fast in our village.
This task tool a lot of courage but the cadets rose to the challenge in their efforts to make the road outside school a little bit safer.
