What a lovely way to end our Year 1 Forest School sessions with a campfire. The children listened carefully to our campfire rules and were very safe and sensible ensuring that they took up the respect position when toasting their marshmallow and that they stood up and walked around the outside of our fire space carefully. Some children also had a go at using a flint and steel to light a piece of cotton wool. We were so impressed with everyone today – well done Year 1!
