Today in Reception we were scientists. Our first experiment was to make a rainbow using kitchen towel, felt tips and water. We started a felt tip rainbow at each end of our kitchen towel then placed each end in a cup of water. We watched the colours seep up the paper towel to make a rainbow. Our second experiment was making a rocket and testing how far we could make it fly by blowing into a straw and shooting our rockets off the end with the force of our breath. It was fun! We finished the day by meeting our parents in the playground and investigating different scientific experiments around the playground and the hall. What a lovely end to a very busy week.
