At Peasedown, we are developing curious, aspirational, resilient and empathetic children who will grow up to be active members of their community. As part of this, in collaboration with the Parish Council, the Hive and local churches, we have developed a progressive programme of volunteering in the local community which will enable children to contribute positively to their village and develop a sense of belonging and pride.
Our school also fosters links with the local community through Harvest celebrations at our local churches; the Mini Police programme and visits from our PCSOs; links with the scout group to support the Year 4 camp-out and Open the Book assemblies.
