Our Orchestra and Choir were absolutely brilliant at yesterday’s Mid Somerset Festival Competition. Their organised, calm and respectful manner was commented on by the adjudicator when talking about our performances but was also noted by adults.
The Orchestra are officially the ‘Best Primary School Orchestra’ in the area and were awarded the Cup for the third year in a row. The Choir sang their hearts out and were just pipped at the post by Northleaze School from Long Ashton in Bristol.
Huge congratulations to all the children; they were such professional performers. Thanks go to Ruth Reeve our accompanist and to parents who helped on the day.
