Year 1 and 2 had a very exciting visitor this afternoon, Rachel Bright the famous author. She came to celebrate the release of her new book ‘The Turtle Who Turned The Tide’ and also the 10th anniversary of her first book ‘The Lion Inside’. She read both books to the children and we even got a drawing master class with her. She described the children as ‘full of energy’ and ‘enthusiastic for reading’.
