In Fern and Jade classes the children have been enjoying the story ‘The Egyptian Cinderella’ this term in our Guided Reading lessons.
They have been very good at reading to a partner and trying to improve their expression, use of punctuation, tone of voice, clarity and use of pauses for dramatic effect. This week we are finishing the book and reflecting on how this story is similar to, but different from the version of Cinderella they already know.
