Today, Year 2 had a brilliant time exploring, creating and playing during our action-packed session!
The children showed amazing focus and teamwork as they sawed wooden cookies to prepare for our spinning toy. They also got hands-on using hand drills to carefully drill conkers – these will become both the handles for our spinners and the beautiful necklaces they proudly wore home today.
Alongside all the hard work, we had plenty of time for fun too. The children loved playing 1,2,3 Where are you and The Floor is Lava as well as searching for creepy crawlers during bug hunting and letting their imaginations run wild in the sandpit.
Well done Year 2 on your fantastic efforts today!
