Well done, Year 1, on a fantastic week at Forest School!
This week, our young explorers got hands-on with some exciting activities. We used saws to create wooden ‘cookies’ and hand drills to make holes in conkers – ready for next week’s project, where we’ll turn them into spinning toys! Some children also had the chance to turn their conkers into beautiful necklaces.
When we weren’t busy crafting, we enjoyed bug hunting, getting creative in the mud kitchen, testing our balance on the slackline, and so much more.
