Reception have made the most of the cold weather this week. We have enjoyed making snowballs, snowmen and an igloo! We have explored ice with paint, glitter, shells, sea animals and tools frozen in it. The children used their problem solving skills to free the objects from the ice. There were a lot of interesting scientific conversations about how ice and snow are formed, how it looks, feels and smells as well as why it melts and of course there was a lot of laughter, excitement and fun!
