The children in nursery have learnt so much this week.
The Bumblebees have learnt the sound ‘a’ this week, they are really enjoying their phonics sessions in nursery, why not challenge your child and ask what sounds they have learnt.
They have also been learning about the number 2, and how many different ways we can show 2, should that be fingers, counting 2 objects, and what the numeral 2 looks like.

The Ladybirds have been learning ‘Big and Small’, listening to the story Big bear  little bear, the children have been grouping big and small objects together and looking at the different sizes. We will continue with this learning next week and start to explore counting 1,2,3 on our fingers.

Our story next week is Gruffalos child, we will bringing this story to life in Forest school on Monday morning, can you please ensure your child has suitable, warm waterproof coats and wellies for this. Thankyou
