This term we have been reading, and writing about, the story The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. The children have all loved learning about owls and retelling the story using story props. Today we were lucky enough to have Zara visit us with her owl Kiara. Of course, all the children in Gold Class simply called her ‘Plop’ from the story! Each child got a chance to hold and stroke the owl and they were all wonderfully gentle and quite mesmerised by the beautiful owl.
