An exciting week

This week, to tie in with our Science learning about plants and exploration of  fruit vegetables, we made fruit smoothies as part of our Design Technology unit on cooking. All children chose 3 fruit to design their own smoothies. They then set about chopping the fruit, ready for the exciting part of adding them to the processor. Most of the children enjoyed their smoothie creations but some were not so sure! After evaluating the different flavours, we will be making a class smoothie to enjoy together. A great way to extend our range of foods we eat and be healthy! On Friday,  all star children attended various sessions with their year groups at the Careers Fair. They enjoyed learning about the jobs of vet, farmer, architect and even hang glider instructor!
