Year 4 have had a wonderfully busy week! We’ve been incredibly lucky with the beautiful weather and made the most of it with an amazing trip to the woods with Miss Monks. The children loved exploring, playing, creating their own chalk paint, and even sliding down the bank! Please visit our school’s Facebook page for lots of great photos.

Back in the classroom, we’ve continued our still life art topic, with a focus on understanding and using negative space. The children produced some thoughtful and creative work.

In Maths, we’ve been building on our understanding of fractions and are now beginning to make links between fractions and decimals, including recognising tenths of a number.

A fantastic week of learning and outdoor fun—well done, Year 4!
