We’ve had a very busy start to Year 2! In Maths, we have been learning about place value, and learning how to represent 2-digit numbers in different ways, using concrete and pictorial resources.  We have been reading a range of fairy tales in English, ready to explore the book, Little Red Reading Hood.  We’ve been outside in our conservation area, collecting adjectives to describe the woods, ready to use in our writing.  We’ve started learning about how children lived in Victorian times in History, and how to sort objects into living, dead and never alive in Science.
