This term in Science, Year 5 are learning about forces. This week, we learnt about air resistance, the force which acts on an object moving through the air. We carried out an investigation into how the surface area of the blades of a paper spinner affects the time it takes to fall. We made three paper spinners of different sizes, then timed how long each one took to fall. We had a lot of fun doing this experiment!
