We’ve had a fantastic week bringing our learning to life with lots of hands-on activities!
🔢 Maths: We’ve been learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100, and testing our knowledge of multiples. Don’t tell Mrs Noall, but today we even drew number lines on the tables to help us! We then headed outside to create giant number lines, using our number cards to decide whether each number should be rounded up or down by looking carefully at the tens digit.
🔬 Science: We’ve been exploring the melting points of different materials and had great fun investigating how long it took different materials to melt. We timed ice, butter, chocolate and wax, making predictions, observing carefully and comparing our results.
It’s been a brilliant week of learning, exploring and having fun along the way! 🌟
