Fun and Learning in The Star

This week we have enjoyed lots of fun and creativity in The Star, as well as completing a lot of work – especially doing excellent writing in both Silver and Gold classes. Each afternoon we spend time working on individual goals in fun ways. In Gold Class, one activity involved partners walking across the classroom balancing a table tennis ball on a piece of paper! It was a great way to learn about working collaboratively with a partner. We are lucky enough to have Miss Scott come up to the Star for singing lessons every fortnight and everyone in The Star is loving singing the Harvest songs! We ended the week with some creativity; as well as doing our art therapy in the afternoon, a few children worked together to make and paint a giant sausage dog! Maybe our new, well behaved class pet!
